GRAFFITI/STREET ART

This event was a bit different as I was not only responsible for the design, but the music for the show and a some direction on how we wanted the choregraphy to come together. With the intended theme, I created a design that was colourful, fun and easy for the audience to recognize. Although each of the icon murals were painted on the body free hand, I wanted to create it in a way that would imitate Banksy’s method of application, using a stencil and spray paint. We had lots of fun at the rehearsals and live show; my team and the dancers connected really well and for us it was a HUGE success.
