Beautiful Disrepair

I have passion to create portraits of creative abstract body art on men. Having played around with ideas and colours I finally decided to do a full body with a view to photographing the full form and close up sections if the face and body.

Very often, when I am out and about I am very often looking at buildings and doors, and how the weather (rain/sun) can have an ongoing effect on the textures and colours of the materials and paints. The inspiration for the colours of this design were drawn from some images I found on pinterest of an old church door in South America (the irony that my model Jhonny was Brazilian). I layered paints, creams and pigment powders to create the overall effect of beautiful disrepair.
